TTUHSC's graduate students do their clinical hours where they live, so the state you live in shapes everything from admission to the preceptor search. Texas comes first, then the states whose residents TTUHSC accepts into its graduate programs, then the ten where its licensure page says it cannot.

How TTUHSC decides by state
TTUHSC's professional licensure page reports whether each graduate track meets a state's educational requirements, and a separate mark sets ten states apart as places whose residents its graduate programs cannot take. South Dakota joins that group for the BSN to DNP alone, while Kansas falls short only for midwifery and the BSN to DNP.
Every graduate program page also says TTUHSC cannot promise, at the time you apply, that it can take students from certain states. The licensure disclosure guide and the moving guide explain both in TTUHSC's words.

Can I study TTUHSC's online NP programs from another state?
Most states, yes, and your clinicals would run near home. Ten states sit outside TTUHSC's graduate admissions, so confirm your own state with the Admissions Team before you apply.
What if I move after starting a TTUHSC graduate program?
Give TTUHSC two months' warning, the minimum its handbook sets. Approval for clinicals in your new state is decided one student at a time, and staying in the program is not assured. Details sit in the moving guide.
Is Texas treated differently?
Texas is TTUHSC's home state, with campuses in Lubbock, Amarillo, Abilene, the Permian Basin and Dallas/Mansfield. See the Texas guide.
