From New Hampshire to a TTUHSC nurse practitioner track
Granite State nurses can apply to TTUHSC's graduate tracks: the licensure disclosure gives New Hampshire a "Meets" across the board. As a compact member, the state issues multistate licenses that answer the MSN license rule, and its paperwork for out-of-state clinicals targets NCLEX-track schools, a different animal from TTUHSC's NP programs.

Disclosure status for New Hampshire
TTUHSC attaches no graduate restriction to New Hampshire on any of its licensure tables.

Admission is decided later and separately. Given how often regulations change, TTUHSC's graduate pages say they cannot be sure, when an application arrives, that students from certain states can be accepted, and they ask applicants from outside Texas to contact the Admissions Team about eligibility before they apply.
A filing system built for first-licensure schools
Nur 602.15(j), New Hampshire's pre-licensure distance-education provision, hands a list of chores to any approved school headquartered in another state that signs clinical contracts in New Hampshire. It tells the Board up front that it intends to place students, then flags each placement six weeks in advance. Three documents carry the load: Form A, a petition renewed annually; Part B, one per rotation, describing the student placement; and a Clinical Preceptor Agreement for every preceptor. Visiting faculty who supervise in person must meet the state's faculty standards, carry an unencumbered New Hampshire license and submit a faculty appointment form.
Graduate study sits outside all this. On the education page of the Office of Professional Licensure and Certification, which houses the Board, programs for nurses already licensed, RN-BSN and RN-MSN included, appear as unregulated by the Board, and TTUHSC's graduate tracks enroll licensed RNs. A caveat about the rule's own status: one published copy gives Nur 602.15 an end date of January 23, 2026, even though OPLC referred to it that January, and a readoption remains unconfirmed. For a TTUHSC rotation, the approvals that count are TTUHSC's: preceptor, facility and an electronic preceptor agreement each semester.
Multistate license, full practice
New Hampshire has participated in the compact since January 19, 2018. If it is your declared home state and your license is multistate and unencumbered, that license covers TTUHSC's MSN requirement, which treats compact multistate licenses the same as Texas ones. Full practice is AANP's rating for New Hampshire: an NP there needs no physician agreement to practice, and a preceptor may well run an independent practice.
Where New Hampshire NPs practice
The state's one full metro is Manchester-Nashua; Concord heads a micropolitan area; and roughly 459,000 residents of the southeast are counted in greater Boston. Among providers, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center belongs to Dartmouth Health, Catholic Medical Center is part of HCA Healthcare, and Concord Hospital runs its own health system. Southern New Hampshire Health and Elliot Health System founded SolutionHealth together; in July 2025 the two boards proposed taking it apart. Every one is an example rather than a partner, since TTUHSC approves each facility on its merits. Research found no state preceptor incentive.
The Massachusetts line and a move
Southern New Hampshire belongs to the Boston metro, yet Massachusetts runs its own approval for out-of-state clinicals under 244 CMR 6.03(2), with an annual Part A and per-placement Part B, and its criteria describe NCLEX-preparing programs. Keep your search on the New Hampshire side unless TTUHSC approves otherwise. Any move to another state needs 60 days' notice to TTUHSC, and clinical approval there is weighed case by case (moving out of state).

Can I apply to TTUHSC's MSN nurse practitioner tracks from New Hampshire?
Yes. New Hampshire meets TTUHSC's disclosure for every MSN NP track, midwifery and the BSN to DNP. Admission is a separate decision, and TTUHSC asks out-of-state applicants to check eligibility with its Admissions Team before submitting. Clinical hours then happen near home with approved preceptors.
Does TTUHSC have to file Form A or six-week notices in New Hampshire?
Form A, Part B and the six-week notices belong to Nur 602.15(j), the rule for pre-licensure schools from other states. Programs for licensed nurses, RN-MSN among them, show up on OPLC's list as unregulated by the Board. Your course faculty can confirm whether TTUHSC files anything for a New Hampshire rotation.
Does a New Hampshire multistate license meet TTUHSC's MSN rule?
Yes, when New Hampshire is where you declare residence and the license carries multistate status, current and unencumbered. TTUHSC's MSN rule names Texas licenses and compact multistate ones as equally acceptable. A single-state license would not qualify.
Can I do clinical hours in Massachusetts while living in southern New Hampshire?
Plan on New Hampshire sites. Massachusetts requires Board approval for clinical experiences run by programs based elsewhere, with filings months ahead, and is not yet a working compact state. Any Massachusetts site would need TTUHSC's approval and your course faculty's agreement first.
