TTUHSC nursing programs and their clinical side

TTUHSC offers five MSN nurse practitioner tracks, nurse-midwifery, two BSN to DNP tracks, post-graduate certificates and a Post-Master's DNP, and in most of them the student brings the preceptor. The table sets out the clinical hours as TTUHSC prints them, and each guide walks through that program's clinical courses.

Does TTUHSC offer a PMHNP program online?

Yes. The MSN PMHNP is online with a spring start, and the BSN to DNP also has a PMHNP track. Clinical hours happen in your home area with approved preceptors. See the MSN PMHNP guide.

Which TTUHSC programs leave the preceptor search to students?

The MSN nurse practitioner tracks, the post-graduate NP certificates and the BSN to DNP, with the Post-Master's DNP and Leadership practicums set up by students too. Midwifery is coordinated, and the BSN programs are placed by TTUHSC.

Is there a pediatric NP certificate at TTUHSC?

Not in the 2026-27 catalog. TTUHSC's post-graduate NP certificates are Family NP, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP and Psychiatric Mental Health NP, plus Nurse-Midwifery.
